as well as web, print and art direction. 

About

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in an Italian-American family in Buffalo, New York, Sara had a very strange and eclectic upbringing. Heavily influence by Disney, anime, and comic books, drawing was an inherent part of her childhood and adolescence.

Inspired by travel, music, nature and the many talented people in the world, she's always thinking of exciting ways to be creative. In her quieter moments, she loves to read fantasy and sci-fi, sail, and tend her vegetable garden.

Work Experience

Sara began her career at the College for Creative Studies and later transferred to the University of Washington where she received her BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Art. Soon after, she worked as a freelance designer before joining Smith-Harmon, an email marketing consultancy. While there, she acquired her black belt in the art of the quick turnaround, and had the exciting opportunity to work on many amazing brands.

After working two years in Seattle, she moved to New York City and helped expand the creative services team at Responsys, an interactive marketing company. During her time there, she developed specialized skills in social media and mobile marketing. After another two years, her love for new adventures brought her to Los Angeles, where she resides as freelance designer and illustrator.
